Sarah Hall qualified with a BSc (HONS) in Sport Rehabilitation at Salford University. She is a member of the British Association for Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers and is registered with the Rehabilitation Council

Sarah now owns and runs SARAH HALL - Southport Sports & Personal Injury Clinic and is an active member of Sefton Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to opening the private clinic Sarah had experience in a variety of settings, including, other private physiotherapy and sports injury clinics, in the orthopaedic clinic at Southport District General Hospital and providing pre and post event massage and injury advice to runners at half marathons and 10K events. Sarah has also provided post event massage to a premiership rugby club.

Sarah is keen to maintain a patient-centred practice with a personal touch,

“When I see patients, I treat them as individuals. Even if a few patients have the same injury, they will not all necessarily receive the same treatment, they all have different needs and lifestyles and it is important to offer an holistic approach to meet their needs”.

“Being with patients for 30-45mins, giving them one to one attention gives me the opportunity to start to get know the person”.

To keep up to date with latest research and to get different perspectives on treating musculoskeletal disorders, Sarah regularly attends the Orthopeadic clinic at Southport District General Hospital and shadows a respected local Orthopeadic Consultant Surgeon

Being a keen sports woman herself, Sarah enjoys meeting and treating other athletes and getting them back to training or playing sport at their pre-injury levels. She believes that everyone is an athlete, some people just train harder!

Personal interests include sailing, running and badminton. Sarah has been sailing for about 15years and can be commonly found racing or instructing others to sail at her local sailing club, West Lancashire Yacht Club. Sarah currently sails an RS300, sailing this definitely keeps her fitness up! Sarah has been running recreationally since her school and college days, last year (2009) she participated in Race for Life, 5K, and is planning a couple of 10K events to do this year. Badminton has also been on of her interests, getting to know the game by playing with friends and family and then progressing to joining a local club. Joining the club gave her the confidence and skills to progress further in the game.
Having a background in these sports has enabled her to have a greater understanding of the demands placed on the body and how to prevent these stresses during participation, this has helped enormously whilst treating patients.
